Introduction

Dr. Su-Hsing Lin, Ph.D., Department of Art History from Ohio State University, has long been interested in Chinese painting and calligraphy, East Asian bookbinding, and has recently discussed the history of Taiwanese art and the art of religious painting in Taiwan.
Recent publications include "The Characteristics and Importance of Lin Chih Hsin's Homesick Prints in Modern Taiwan Art History"(2022), "The Development of Late Qing Portrait Painting in Taiwan and Its Significance Network - Taking the Portrait of Sir Yoon Ching in His Court Uniform as an Example"(2021), and "From "Small Art" to "Big Art" – “imagine Images: The Fantastic Journey of the Picture Book Art Exhibition"(2022), and "Illusion: The Fantastic Art of Picture Books" (2023), were curated by Dr. Lin with the Museum of Fine Arts, Tainan. Painting: The Fantastic World of Picture Books" (2022), and curated the exhibition "Illusion: Painting: The Fantastic World of Picture Books" at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
