Introduction

Professor Tsuimei, Huang, PhD in the Department of Art and Architectural History at the University of Pittsburgh, specializes in the art of ancient Chinese jades and bronzes. In recent years she has been deeply involved in the cultural investigation of traditional crafts, artisans and antiquities in Taiwan.
Her recent publications include the monographs “Embroidery Collections ─ in Taiwan First Temple of Heaven”(2021) and “ka-tang li̍p tsio̍h-liú (A Skill of different woods inlay) ─ Chen Nanyang”(2020). Papers included "Jade Ornaments Unearthed in the Taosi Cemetery: Types, Combinations, and Origins"(2020), “From Concentration To Circulation: The Development Of Jade Cong Tube From The Early Western Zhou Dynasty To The Early Warring States Period”(2020), and “Meet the Jade in Prehistoric Taiwan: Jade jue of animal-profile and human-animal shape”(2020)
